Here at Harder Concepts, there is no bigger party than our St. Patrick’s Day block party bash. Every year, Ringo’s Pub and Scruffy Duffies team up for a huge blast of live music, green beer, and great times – we always try to top ourselves, and 2018 is no exception. In fact, we’re so stoked about our March 17th St Patrick’s Day party, we’re doing a celebratory pub crawl preview this Saturday, loading up the Big Red Bus for a drinktacular trek both to Saintsbury Tavern and the Mucky Duck before coming back to the Shops at Legacy to close out the night!
Starting at 7p, we’ll be grabbing some beers at Ringo’s Pub, before jumping on the BRB and heading to Saintsbury Tavern in Austin Ranch. We’ll hang at Saintsbury for a round and then boogie on down the road to Addison for more drinks at the Mucky Duck, after which, we’ll return to Plano to party at Scruffy Duffies. If you want a spot on the bus, hit us up on Facebook to reserve your spot – and if you have friends who’ve never been to our annual St. Patrick’s Block Party, bring ’em along for this partylicious preview pub crawl!
In 2016, fans of American Idol had to say goodbye to their beloved making-the-pop-star series, when Fox announced its 15th season would be its finale. But less than two years later, ABC announced that it would be rebooting Idol in 2018, and the new series premiere airs this Sunday night. One of the contestants is a bluesy R&B songwriter named Ron Bultongez, who, after immigrating from the Democratic Republic of Congo, made a home and a name for himself right here in Plano; he digs this town so much he named his first EP Thank You, Plano, and on Sunday night, he’ll be at the Brixton celebrating his Idol run when the nightclub and music venue hosts the Official Ron Bultongez Watch Party for the series’ premiere on Sunday, March 11th. The watch party kicks off at 5p, and Ron will be in the house, so be sure to drop by, watch the show, and show him some love!
