TX/OU Weekend!

It’s that time of year again when the Longhorns and the Sooners meet for the annual Red River Rivalry at the Cotton Bowl. The TX/OU game is one of our state’s greatest traditions, and we wouldn’t be true Texans if we didn’t celebrate it. Kickoff is at 2:30p, so if you’re not fighting the crowds at the State Fair of Texas on Saturday, get a spot at a table or the bar at your favorite Harder Concepts location. We hope to see a lot of burnt orange and crimson on Saturday!

Reflecting Echoes Album Release at the Brixton!

The Cowboys have a bye week, but the Brixton’s still gonna get loud because local rock band Reflecting Echoes is throwing their official album release party there this Sunday! Reflecting Echoes is an all-original band that blends experimental guitar rock with soaring choruses – if you’re into the Flaming Lips or Explosions in the Sky, you’re gonna love this band, and they’re gonna have vinyl copies of their album for sale, so do your turntable a favor and pick one up at the show! And if you’re a regular at Ringo’s Pub, you’ll see a familiar face on vocals and guitar – shout out to Ringo’s Pub manager Justin Massie! The opening band is called the Schisms, and they’re pretty great, too. Come on out and support some local musicians!
